Without the wigs, accents and costumes of the typical tribute band, this is a show that is all about the music.
"The Musical Mystery Tour" has been performing for many years at concerts, events and festivals. Fans are consistently drawn to their beautiful vocals, tight harmonies and solid musicianship - and by the sheer fun of being a part of an incredible musical event! The group is comprised of lifelong Beatle enthusiasts who love what they do, and it shows. As veteran musicians, the members of "The Musical Mystery Tour" have been inspired by the Beatles music throughout their lives. They came together for the joy of playing the music in its purest form - without the gimmicks - and focused on producing the genuine sounds of the Beatles.
With authentic instrumentation, "The Musical Mystery Tour" brings the greatest Beatles music to life. In order to recreate the original Beatles sound, they use the same style guitars and amplification used in the 1960's. From Paul's signature Hofner violin bass, George's Gretch Country Gentleman, John's custom black & white Rickenbacker guitar to Ringo's Ludwig drum kit. As for the vocals - truly unbelievable! The group pays strict attention to detail and strives to recreate the harmonies and inflections of the original recordings. With the addition of a dynamic 3-piece horn section and a keyboard player to provide all the bells and whistles, the group delivers an experience that sounds amazingly like the real thing!
An evening with "The Musical Mystery Tour" will transport you through all the many musical styles of the Beatles, running through all of the eras from the early favorites like 'All My Loving' to later epic songs like 'A Day In The Life' and 'Hey Jude'.
